Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you create an account, subscribe to a plan, or contact support. This includes: name, email address, billing information (processed securely via Stripe), agency name, and any creator or content data you upload to the Platform. We also collect usage data, log files, IP addresses, browser type, and device information automatically when you use the Platform.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to: provide, maintain, and improve the Platform; process transactions and send billing-related communications; send service updates and security alerts; respond to your comments and questions; monitor and analyze usage patterns to improve user experience; detect and prevent fraudulent transactions and abuse; and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Information Sharing
We may share your information with: (a) service providers who assist in operating the Platform (e.g., Stripe for payments, Supabase for database, Vercel for hosting); (b) business partners with your explicit consent; (c) law enforcement or government agencies when required by law; (d) a successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with prior notice to you. All third-party providers are contractually obligated to protect your data.
Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS), encryption at rest, access controls, and regular security audits. Your passwords are never stored in plain text. Payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe and never stored on our servers. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Cookies & Tracking
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and analyze Platform usage. Essential cookies are required for the Platform to function. Analytics cookies help us understand how users interact with the Platform — you may opt out via your browser settings. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or sell your browsing data.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten"); object to or restrict certain processing; data portability (receive your data in a structured format); and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@famecrm.com. We will respond within 30 days.
Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you cancel your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 90 days, except where we are required to retain it by law (e.g., billing records for tax purposes are retained for 7 years). Creator content and analytics data are permanently deleted upon account closure.
Children's Privacy
FameCRM is not directed to individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we become aware that a child under 16 has provided personal information, we will take immediate steps to delete that information. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, please contact us immediately.
International Transfers
FameCRM operates globally and your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure adequate protections are in place for such transfers, including Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission where required. By using the Platform, you consent to the transfer of your information to countries that may have different data protection rules than your country.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by posting a prominent notice on the Platform at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Your continued use of the Platform after any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
